Blog Assignment #1

About Me My name is Kayla Moran and I was born in Pass Christian, Ms. I moved to Mobile two years ago to continue my education at Spring Hill College. I played softball there and really enjoyed it. My major is Physical Education and I want a career teaching and coaching children. I came to South to earn my degree and focus on nothing but being a full time student. My brother, sister, and I were raised by a single mother. I work at a daycare and support myself and intend to get myself through school. I couldn't imagine doing anything, career wise, that didn't involve children because they're always teaching me something new everyday. I love to do anything outdoors and love playing with my new puppy Oakley. Randy Pausch I liked the way that Pausch had such a passion for what he was talking about. He didn't just give some boring speech about time management. He had a specific point to back up everything he said. My favorite thing that he said was, "Doing things right is better than doing wrong things beautifully." It's true that time is valuable and we all learn things from bad experiences. If you always have a plan, and go through with it, then you will always get things done on time.
