Dinkel the pickle gets stolen
This story was really awesome to me. Romrog did a great job of using good description and imagery throughout the whole story. The pickle was an awesome character that just refused to go into someone's salad. Dinkel would not give up on escaping. He thought the sushi were so annoying and they ended up helping him out in the end. I really liked the whole story line and the way that it all worked out. Dinkel finally got back to his family at the end but ended up waking up in another stranger's car! I bet the sequel will be just as interesting as the first one.
Special Drawing
Fumika did a great job at writing a story about the drawing she worked so hard on. It seemed like she had some ups and downs with this particular drawing but she never gave up on doing her best work. Her parents encouraged her by saying it was good and I thought that was awesome. She even read a book about drawing to help her understand the whole drawing process even more. This story was very enjoyable and I hope Fumika continues to work on more drawings and progressing on her work.
Alberta Rocks
Luke made a video with one of his classmates on the Rocky Mountain Region. The video was very creative and it looked very thought through. This video had a lot of awesome pictures and it really made me want to go to the Rocky Mountains. He even added some soothing music that just made the audience want to keep watching. This is a good sign of how technology can be used in everyday life and learning.
The S&W 15-22+The Mighty Alvin, and Hammy Hunt
Kyle did an awesome job at putting his passion for guns down on paper. I was interested the whole time I was reading it because he was so into his story that it was impossible not to like. It was different than any that I've read in a while. It was about guns and how he and his father were waiting on the right one to buy. He also did a great job of explaining parts of the gun that I wouldn't have known otherwise. Kyle researched the gun that he wanted before he got it so he knew exactly how to use it. This story was great entertainment while also giving me a great deal of a new type of knowledge.
